Setting Your Browser To Work Correctly With EventeEvente.com uses strict security settings to protect you and your data. For some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, this can cause your browser to open the Evente page slowly. To correct this, follow the steps below. These changes will improve your experience with Evente.com and possibly with other websites as wel. Click the "Start" button on your computer desktop, and select "Control Panel":
In Control Panel, select "Internet Options"::
Double-click on "Internet Options" to see the "Internet Properties" dialog box:
Near the top of this dialog box, click on the "Connections" tab:
Near the bottom of the "Connections" page, click on "LAN Settings"
You will then see the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" dialog box.
At the top of this dialog box, click on "Automatically detect settings"
Then click "OK" to close this and any other open screens, taking you back to Control Panel At the Control Panel, double-click on "Network Connections"
You will see the "LAN or High-Speed Internet" page:
Put your mouse on the "Local Area Connection" icon (see above) and click the RIGHT mouse button. A menu will pop up. Click "Repair" on that menu.
You will see a message saying your Local Area
Connection is being "repaired."
When the "repair" is complete, click "Close" on this menu, and close the Control Panel. The final step is simply to open Internet Explorer. (NOTE: There may be a delay of several seconds as Internet Explorer, while it configures its "proxy settings." You may see a note informing you of this in the status bar at the bottom of the browser screen. This will happen only once.) Now you are done!
