Evente allows a Supplier to see a
complete list of orders
it has received over the Evente system:
The supplier then accepts new
orders and enters packing details so each item in the
order can be picked from inventory and readied for
shipment.
The Evente system can prepare
for the supplier all the documentation for processing and
shipping the order, including pick lists, packing lists,
bills of lading and shipping lists.
The system also prepares an
Advanced Ship Notice (ASN) for transmission to the buyer and
carrier, indicating that the order (full or partial) is on the
supplier's shipping dock. This eliminates the need for the supplier
to contact the buyer or to alert its freight carrier that the order
is ready.
